At EAA, counseling is an organized procedure in which each student is informed about course scheduling, specialization, and access to academic resources, as well as program and institutional rules. Academic advisers are provided with pertinent information on course and program offerings each academic year, as well as extra training as needed.
Academic advisors convey information about courses, course offers, registration, academic regulations, and the processes required to finish their chosen program of study with students during the counseling process. Academic advisers become aware of students’ academic strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to give focused guidance and opportunities to help avoid problems. The objective is to establish a positive working relationship that encourages students to participate in the program. Elaboration of all academic policies and procedures, discussions about academic expectations and performance, information about other programs in the area, and planning for the student’s educational program in accordance with their career interests are all available through counseling.
